I spent almost a decade building a career that looked successful from the outside. I finally reached six figures, but I was working 12-hour days, struggling to switch off and running on caffeine just to keep going.

The anxiety before meetings was overwhelming. I'd crash by mid-afternoon, reach for more coffee, then wine to switch off at night. My skin broke out constantly. My weight wouldn't shift, despite eating well and exercising. I hated what I saw in the mirror.

I told myself it was just the cost of success.

Eventually I realised the problem wasn't me, it was the advice. Generic diets and fitness plans aren't built for high-performing, busy lives. Every plan asked me to choose between my career and my health.

I refused to accept that trade-off. So I trained as a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist and Personal Trainer to understand why my body was struggling. The answer was never more willpower or restriction, it was learning to work with my physiology, using an evidence-based, functional approach, not generic advice.

That became The Realign Method: the programme I built because it was the one I needed first.
